Our Clergy

Dear Beloved,
Our Father and Metropolitan JOSEPH appointed me as a pastor of St. Mary Berkley on June 18, 2016. My first Divine Liturgy here was held July 2, 2016. The Holy Spirit was helping so much that the Glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ goes ahead at St. Mary Berkley.
The remodeling took place during 2017 , and the gorgeous Iconostasis made from Greek Linden wood was installed; it is one of the hardest wood in the world, and it is consequently convenient to Michigan weather! The door was installed Spring 2018, and the Iconography was done during the same year. The copper Dome with the two Crosses was installed December 2019.
My Beloved,
The building of St. Mary’s is completing a hundred years in spreading the Word. All of this was made possible with the blessing of Sayedna, with the help of the Holy Spirit and with your wonderful support to the Church and to a priest who arrived recently; The Church has a new dress to make its voice better and well-heard. The dome and its crosses created a brighter face for this Church which reflects the Holy Orthodox Tradition.
My Beloved,
I thank the Lord for helping me and I would like to take the opportunity of registering all what was done in our beloved Church in this booklet. I feel that the Holy Spirit did this by putting “the hand of the Lord” together with your endless support.
I am so fortunate in all that occurred and took place at St. Mary’s during my ministry. I will say with a full mouth and from the bottom of my heart that I am so proud to be your Pastor and you to be my faithful. Simply I say to you all; I LOVE YOU ALL.
