The New Iconostasis

Crafted in Greece

THIS ICONOSTASIS IS DONATED BY DOCTORS MTANIUS SULTANI IN MEMORY OF HIS MOTHER VICTORIA HABKA SULTANI AND WAFA SABA SULTANI AND IN MEMORY OF HER MOTHER CECILIA MAHFOUD ISSA.

It is a sign of beauty, made of the hardest wood in the world. That is, the Mediterranean linden wood that grows above the hills of Greece. This type of wood is suitable for the Michigan climate, where the disparity is great between the highest and the lowest expected temperature in this part of the world.

The great benefactor Dr. Mtanius Soltani donated The Iconostasis and half of the Iconography. The people who donated the Icons were installed on it. Here are the names as they are written on the Iconostasis of the Church:
